Pilot Connect is a mobile platform that connects pilots with aviation professionals — including Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs), Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), and aviation mechanics — making it easy to find, compare, and book services all in one place.

Pilot Connect is built for student pilots, certificated pilots, and aviation professionals. Whether you're looking for a checkride examiner, need flight instruction, or want to find a mechanic for your aircraft, Pilot Connect has you covered.

What platforms is Pilot Connect available on?

Pilot Connect is available on iOS through the Apple App Store. An Android version is planned for the future.

Is Pilot Connect free to use?

Pilot Connect is free to download. A subscription — $9.99/month or $79.99/year — unlocks full access, including the interactive map, real-time weather, airport data, and the marketplace to find and book verified providers. Service providers subscribe to the same plan to list their services and manage bookings.

How is Pilot Connect different from other aviation apps?

How do I find a DPE, CFI, or mechanic?

Use the map-based search or list view to browse providers near you. You can filter by service type, location, rating, and availability to find the right professional for your needs.

How do I book a service?

Once you find a provider, you can view their profile, check availability, and send a booking request directly through the app. The provider will confirm or suggest an alternative time.

What aviation data is available?

Pilot Connect provides access to airport information, NOTAMs, TFRs, and other essential aviation data to help you plan flights and stay informed.

Can I access real-time weather information?

Yes! Pilot Connect includes real-time METARs, TAFs, and weather briefing tools so you can check conditions before every flight.

How do reviews and ratings work?

After completing a service, pilots can leave a rating and written review for their provider. Reviews help other pilots make informed decisions and help top providers stand out.

For Providers (DPEs, CFIs, Mechanics)

How do I list my services on Pilot Connect?

Download the app, create a provider account, and fill out your profile with your qualifications, services offered, service area, and availability. Once published, pilots in your area can find and contact you.

How do I set my pricing?

You have full control over your pricing. Set your rates for each service type directly in your provider profile. You can update pricing at any time.

How do I manage bookings?

All booking requests appear in your provider dashboard. You can accept, decline, or suggest alternative times. You'll receive notifications for new requests and upcoming appointments.

What does a provider subscription include?

Providers subscribe to the same plan as pilots — $9.99/month or $79.99/year. It gives you a public profile listing, booking management tools, visibility in pilot search results, review collection, and provider analytics. If you choose to accept payments in-app through Stripe, you keep 99% of every booking (a 1% platform fee applies).

How do I get more visibility to pilots?

Complete your profile with a photo, detailed bio, and all relevant qualifications. Respond to booking requests promptly and maintain high ratings through great service — all of these factors help you rank higher in search results.

How do I create an account?

Download Pilot Connect from the App Store and sign up with your email address or Apple ID. You'll be guided through setting up your profile in just a few steps.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings screen within the app. Once confirmed, your account and associated data will be permanently removed in accordance with our data retention policy.

How is my data protected?
